Thinking about trading in my trusty curve for a htc tilt. It's a shame. I don' want that clunky thing.
Chicago suburbs, no edge on my blackberry 8300
Hmm... How are us 20 year olds and under supposed to fake these to get into bars and liquor stores...I must get on duplicating these.
I agree with most of the people here.
A) We don't know that third party apps won't work
B) Logic would dictate they will work. Steve was stressing how powerful and near desktop-like the OS on this phone was.
zargon,
I'm with you 100% on this one. I never had a problem with ATT wireless. Service or customer service. I was on a corporate plan, and because of that position they would always throw me a free phone whenever I wanted. They would give me minutes whenever I called, without my asking. Their plans were simple and fair. They were a pleasant company. Cingular has more of a corporate feel than ATT. Go ahead and try talking to them to get something down. You get the nameless person telling you all the hoops that need to be jumped through. Give me ATT Wireless back.
Does this mean us cellular users get decent customer service back?
at number 1,
TracFone does sell some GSM phones which could be unlocked and used on other networks. It's already an issue with people buying many phones and selling them in underdeveloped markets for more.
I agree with Zach.
At these capacities there is nothing to separate the iPhone from any other mp3 capable phone out there right now. I want an iPod and a Phone, Not a nano and a phone. I want ALL my music, not a couple CD's.

Arno- It will be a cingular exclusive if there is an exclusive at all. 3g GSM is NOT verizon.
@#7-If it's a four way slider, I'm sure one of the sliding sides would be a full QWERTY keyboard. I don't think text messaging would just be eliminated.
These ads never made sense to me. Apple is poking fun at windows for having real world applications and uses that are a positive to society and business? And that makes apple a good computer?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
