#5. Eric,

You can always download freeware apps to fill that purpose: PocketNotepad for example.

You might also want to check out the XV6700 which is a WinMob Pocket PC Phone for Verizon. It might be as thick as the Treo but it's also thinner and shorter.
Congrats to everyone who's already won.
I wonder what will be the final day's prize.
Why must they name slim clamshells after knives?
Even though a lot of manufacturers may be making 640x480 devices, that doesn't make 480x480 displays more cheap.
If there are five companies making 640x480 screens, those will always be cheaper than the one company making the 480x480 screen.
My turn to win today??
I'm going to be today's winner. Just watch!
HTC Phones for everyone!!
Another day, another smartphone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
