I went to Vegas for the first time in July (stayed at the Encore!). The two apps I used most were Yelp and Google Maps. We had done a lot of research prior to going, so we had an idea of which restaurants and shows we wanted to eat at/see. We were able to get a lot done with those two apps.
I head Snow Leopard is going to drop September 29th.
Like most of what Apple is up to behind the scenes, it's a closely guarded secret.

After seeing the learn to play music features in the latest Garageband, it's no surprise that iPod would develop karaoke features. Especially if there has always been support for lyrics.
Am I the only person out there that's satisfied with AT&T?

I have a feeling that lately it's just part of a bigger trend to bash AT&T. Either that, or it's a very loud minority.

I've had AT&T in its various incarnations (Old ATT, Cingular Blue, Cingular Orange, New AT&T) and have always gotten excellent service in South Florida.

I just switched from the first-gen iPhone, which was rock-solid in terms of reception, call quality/clarity, etc. to the new 3GS and am amazed that I now have even better coverage/signal than before.
Wow, is it me or is TUAW's coverage getting spottier every week.

Every week there's some alarmist post where the blogger didn't RTFA, then it gets debunked within minutes.

Are middle schoolers running this blog?
Wow dude, I think TUAW just jumped the shark. Do you not read your own blog? I swear it's been posted at least twice on this blog that you push the locate button a second time. Plus it was in the Keynote. And the guided tour. And on every other review, walk-through, blog, etc.
Are you sure about that? I have an original iPhone with a push Exchange account. An incoming call interrupts the data connection and rings.

I think it works the same way dial-up used to work, if your modem didn't dial *70, call-waiting could kick you off.
I for one welcome our new data robotic overlords.
The control scheme on the new Shuffle is very similar to the way it's done on the iPhone using the OEM earbuds. It would be awesome if they next version of iPhone software could introduce Voice Over.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
