I spoke to a rep on the phone. She had to call me back but found out that they DO have them in stock and they ARE first gen but they're refurbished. Which means no original packaging. They still have a one year warranty though. I couldn't pull the trigger for a refurb but it is tempting!
No Sean, that's a Verizon Wireless branded prepaid VISA card worth $50. You can spend it anywhere.
OMG! You people kill me! I'm sorry, I've been trying not to flame anyone but this is ridiculous. First of all, you CAN use multi-tap on the Storm but who would want to?! SureType is great especially for one handed typing, you just have to get used to it. Which brings me to my point. I AM SICK of people slamming the Storm or any other device after only using it for a short period of time. You HAVE to get used to any new device! Returning it after a few hours/days is ignorant! Also, the software is not the final build! We all realize that Verizon/RIM should have kept the Storm "in the oven" a few more months. Get over it! There WILL be software updates!

The Storm is going to be a great device. The hardware is amazing and the software will catch up. I have used the Storm a lot and can't wait to get mine. Also, I am a die-hard Apple fanboy who has owned two iPhones but I prefer Verizon's network(no AT&T 3G in my area)
a free "whispernet" functionality would be "the bee's knees"(yeah, I said it). I would also LOVE to see GPS and the rumored volume button. Also, I may be the only person but I would like a smaller size. Not much, just about .5 inch all around.

Uhhh...Hello... Alpha Dog. I don't about everyone else but I felt like crap after that one.
OK, I am so confused! In the screenshot of the Die Hard details page it says the format is Fullscreen but in the screenshot of the movie playing it's widescreen. I cannot find the widescreen version on the ITMS. I can deal with no HD but I'm not paying to watch a 4:3 movie. Can anyone clear this up for me? Thanks.
Thanks Noshino, I didn't know about that. I'll give it a shot

Yes, actually I do have a very good excuse: I use a Mac! The a-holes at Sony have completely left me(and thousands of others) out in the cold on this one. I wish I could download this amazing game, but I can't! WTF?!! sorry, rant over.
Temple of Doom!
Skate wallpapers next week please!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
