This looks like the outcome of a palm pre with down syndrome having a child with a blackberry. Its horrendous. Please palm, stick with making your crappy pre's. At least those don't look COMPLETELY disgusting...now hardware-wise, thats a whole new story...

i believe you when you say that you have a case that looks like the texture of this photo's iphone but im sure the case isnt paper thin or it wouldn't be much of a case. so IF that was a case on that photo's iphone, it would have to be noticeably thick, atleast thick enough to realize thats a case (specially where the camera is). still case or no case, Gabe has a point, the earpeice and chrome is noticably different/gone. personally, i belive that that is a picture of the new iphone. i dont think it would be nessesary to switch from my iphone 3g to this one (unless there is a HUGE deal-breaking detail about the new one that i missed). it doesn't seem that different hardware wise.

uh-oh, mobile carrier fight!! anyway, verizon, im not sure what lock down means and all that but i DO understand that your company does water down (for the lack of a better word) their phones and it got soo annoying that i moved to AT&T and got the IPHONE. sound familiar? you could have had the iphone plus the millions of users but you said no... stupid. and i agree with AT&T, i had a choice of either the touch pro or the storm, i wanted the touch pro but i heard u made it suck so i went with the storm... VZW's "AMAZING" EXCLUSIVE SMARTPHONE!!!!! well yeah, it totally BLOWED! im selling it on ebay ASAP. VZW, i had enough of your sh*t waiting for you to get better phones, but its been about 3 years now, and ive gone thru about 5 phones, and deff over 1k, so i decided to fix it myself once and for all, SWITCH TO AT&T! they are amazing and so is the iphone ( not to sound like a fanboy, i love windows but the iphone itself is a grate phone for me at least)

sorry to be off topic here but something similar happened to my blackberry storm. last night at midnight, my bb storm just turned off out of nowhere. nothing is wrong now but when i turned it back on it said it was verifying software. i guess if was just a over the air update?

well i didnt have any luck at all. i had stoopid school to go to. i LOVE the BB storm and i really think engadget has been doing a good job with the reveiws ( thats what hooked me onto the phone) . i just wanted to say that. i wish that for a phone this good, they should close school or atleast make more of them. i just came home from the verizon store and they were sold out 15 min. after the store opened. it kind of upsets me that i didnt have any luck today but i know that i am not alone. i wish that there was some way that bb/verizon could have made more phones. anyways, to everyone that has the storm now or wants to get one soon, good luck and have fun. i hope everyone enjoys their BB storm. cya everyone adn have a nice day.
