I usually wouldve said BS.. but in todays technology journal in WSJ I read about T-mobile's national roll out of its hotspot @ home service launch this summer with handsets from Nokia and Samsung.. Tmobile is making moves regardless of its lack of US 3G this along with myFaves is shaking things up..I may even switch from cingular
Im not happy with Cingular stripping off WiFi capabilities off new phones like the Samsung and the E61 - Cingular to carry the E62 Without wifi....
I understand they want people to buy and use their data but come on! first of all WiFi isnt available everwhere so most people would still add a data plan regardless..wifi is just not that reliable yet...cingular is not making smart moves..I just bought the e61 because I can still use EDGE and WiFi on it
the stats make sense.. who wants to watch a movie on their phone? when it drains battery, quality isnt the greatest and it cost money?
I have a moto e680 and have King Kong the movie on an SD but have never actually made it throught the whole thing event though quality is ok...for reason number one..the battery!
I dont know if I like the name greephone though makes feel like a tree hugger.. lol
eh. I'll live if i dont get it but I think Ive been a good boy and deserve it :) I will be nice and take good care of it..i promise..i will keep it shiny and scratch free
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
