God, $80 a MONTH? That's atrocious. You can have a calling plan with unlimited EVDO data access for $45 with Sprint.
"The CNET article says only that the 700 will be "unveiled" on Monday -- not that it will be released. This has been the rumor all along."

Rumor huh? Try going here: www.palm.com/us/products/smartphones/treo700p/

Today's the day that the Nextel store I use to work at's closing... I think a proper way to commemorate this event is winning a brand new Cingular phone ;-)
Honestly... are we supposed to take this seriously?
Sounds alot like Sprint's PCS Business Connection.
I'm posting this from my treo 600 ;-)
"when I lived in the Philippines (2001-ish) a friend of mine had a modified Nokia that accepted two sim cards. He was able to recieve calls from both and set a primary number from which to call from.

I think a dual sim capable phone would be nice, but I don't think we'll ever see it in the US."

Nearly all Nextel phones now sans Blackberries are capable of having two numbers for both inbound and outbound calls - with one sim card.

I have a Treo 600 personal phone and an i730 from Sprint/Nextel for whom I work.
I can't wait for the Treo 700p!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
