Its a status symbol for young folks. If you don't understand that, then you don't understand pop culture (billion dollar industry) very well.
"Hmm, Lets create some secrecy like the Sidekick 3. Maybe it will generate some hype!?"

Man this is such exiting news! I can't wait! Why haven't there been leaks about this like SK3?
So when did Engadget turn into MySpace? Why are we posting our ages? Did you want to mention whether or not you were single too? Maybe tell me how many virtual friends you have too?
As for the SK3 it almost looks like they were inspired by the PSP. I wonder if the shoulder buttons will be as tactile? Whats with the chrome? So 1980 Sony.
Shut up Steven you aren't 15. You just wanted to counter #37's comment. I highly doubt a number of 15 year olds are carrying around a 650 just because the network is better. Also I don't know many 15 year olds that will put a comma after "Well". I smell old man stink.
Honestly guys, video on cell phones are not that cool. All of Europe has had 3G for some time and they're still not watching streaming video over their phones. Why!? Because video over cell phones is just lame. I assume a 40 year old product marketing dude at Verison or T-MO has no clue what to do in this space so they copy Apple's lead and apply it to the mobile space. I predict they're scheming on how to bring the Myspace experience to the mobile world. Lame! Can't you think of something better!? Hey maybe a Google app? Lame! Johnny come lately as usual.
BTW Cliff probably drives a Prius and is probably wearing his BT headset while reading this comment. Also, I predict you'll talk about the good ol days at Northwestern or Berkley 20 years after you've graduated. Ya Loser!
Cell phones will become commodities one day. Soon they will come free inside a cracker jacks box. Prophecy No. 1
CLIFF, No offense but you're probably an old fart in the making. Maybe one of those college students that will talk about your college well after 10 years have past. BTW I used to work for PalmOne. And I know their particular market is for old farts in the making and old enterprise farts. Made for them by them.
Enjoy that bluetooth headset that you have hanging around your ear! Dork!
News flash losers. The sidekick wasn't made for the same dorks that use treo's. In other words there's more money to be made getting children to buy their product than old enterprise farts. BTW I'm doing this on my sidekick.
Brothers with different mothers. The QWERTY keyboard family...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
