Good grief, people, chill out. We still have no idea what Apple plans to do with Lala. Your claims of Apple ruining Lala might be right, but we have no way of knowing for sure. Whadaya say we just wait to see what they do before all of the whining. They might actually do something good with it. ;)

I agree. If this thing is half as cool as it seems, waiting an extra couple of weeks would still be well worth it. As it stands, my pre-order is still expected to ship December 18. I just hope it stays that way!
This would be great! I was looking at that, but ultimately, I thought the retail price was more than I wanted to spend. I'd take a free one, though!

I definitely would love it to be a place to put my iPhone and iPod on while they're syncing/charging. Currently, leaving it plugged in, just sitting on the desk, looks messy, and I'd love to have a place to stow it.

I pre-ordered mine on November 13, which gave me an expected shipping date of December 18, and that's still where it stands.
You can never have too many computers! Let's see what this guy can do!
Has Microsoft finally gotten the Zune right with this? I'd love to find out!
I've heard a lot of good things about this headset. I'd love to see if it lives up to the hype.
Cool! We got a Wii for the family for Christmas. Another game under the tree would be pretty cool!
If Hulu won't allow its content on Boxee and other such platforms, what makes anyone believe it will give the okay to Roku?
While I agree, I think that would defeat Google's point behind the Chrome OS browser-based philosophy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
