google sms? what the hell is that? can somebody explain this, please?
i never noticed how hairy Jon Stewards Arms are *struckwithfear*
as odd as it sounds, i object to all non lethal high tech weapons, the intension is good (stop an armed criminal without killing him), but in the end this could be used more widespread, i.e. you could just build a very large version of this or the "pukelight" and instantly end protests. The Police can't justify shooting at a crowd with a gun, everyone would be outraged, but with these "softer" weapons, people don't care that much.
Another problem would be, that if you calibrate this right, you could achieve the effect slowly, thus breaking up a political speach, everybody would feel sick after 10 minutes and go home, without knowing that a political opponent used this weapon.

Just my thoughts.

be kind, english is not my native language :-)
you know, you could use it on your left ear while driving a car (right ear in GB,Japan,Australia etc.) or you could just leave it on the dashboard of your car when your not in the car, since most people only use headsets while driving, this could be great to charge the headset while you're shopping or at work, at least in summer.
Blackjack for me
WOOHOO
phone: Sony Ericsson M600i - great compromise between size and textinput option
music & video: iPod 5G 30GB - i bought it early on when it came out, till now i am happy with it, even if it tends to be scratched after a while of carrying it all day
laptop: IBM Thinkpad X31 - it's a decent machine for me to develop software, it's small & well built, i would buy a thinkpad any time again without hesitation, IMB & Lenovo
Nintendo DS Lite - great games, overall good experience (even if i think they should cut the friendcode crap and just take it into something more open)
iPod 4g? mhm
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
