One could argue that hell isn't very sexy.
In response to number 4, you can hear yourself speak on a regular phone. Cell phones do not provide the vocal feedback. As a result, people tend to yell into cell phones because it seems as if their voice is too quiet, since they do not hear it like they are accustomed to.

As a general rule of thumb, don't design products to beat out another one. Answer the competition by looking into the market, not feature-matching a competitor's products. "Apple killers" never work, because they don't tend to elegantly address needs that Apple products miss out on.

I have a hunch no apples will be killed as a result of the production of this product.

If you plug an Apple keyboard into Ubuntu, then the Apple key is called "Super", so it all balances out to a brand-neutral key in the end.
