Are you kidding me? You're trashing someone for getting too up close and personal? Isn't that what your photographers do every day? Invade celebrities personal lives and get up close and personal to get the scoop? Yea thought so.
Since I pretty much have every phone known to mankind, the T-Mobile wing would be a great addition to the collection lol.
Zippy chance this is thinner than the iPhone. Whoever made that comment obviously didn't read the entire article or didn't look at the pics. I'm not a fanboy, but I'd still buy the iPhone over this thing. Way to thick, altho the 5 mp cam is a great touch.
Umm how about they edited this to answer those questions after I made that post. I read the entire article, and they botched the placement of the camera the first time around. So, next time, read the article when it's posted, then respond. thanks.
Are you kidding me? Where's the rest of this article? You didn't mention anything about the new flashing lights around the scroll wheel. Have you ever owned the 8500? The camera's in the exact same place. You didn't mention the speaker on the top of the back of the phone, which isn't on the 8500. Are there new themes?
I was a fan of the RAZR but this thing is just plain ugly. If you haven't seen it up close, be sure to go check it out. It's a little wider than the RAZR and a little thicker. I think they really screwed up on the design of this one.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
