all mobile phones are dumb phones
i am sure that you don't want this phone. verizon would love to have the higher arpu. don't pretend that verizon doesn't care about the bottom line. this phone gets people to spend way more on a monthly plan. as soon as they can, verizon will carry it.
fwiw i have had my iphone for 7 months. according to my phone usage i am still under 700mb sent and received for those 7 months. i use the browser fairly often, so 400 mb a month doesn't seem like a huge deal breaker.
i just like the picture. ahhh. when phones were simple. nostalgia is wonderful.
i love it when just anyone thinks that they can design software. way to f in up verizon!!! yes, the software is usable. lots of flaws, though. worst all it is inescapable. like the borg. or that guy from the atari game berzerk.
i would be interested in seeing a study that compares the effects of gsm vs cdma technologies. I just wonder if one is less dangerous than the other.
my turn. cause i have been here since day one.
i am on here way too much.
when oh when?!?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
