You're aware that AT&T doesn't set, have a say in, or keep any of the taxes you're charged right?
T-Mobile helped me set up MMS, internet access and all that jazz when I bought an unlocked european phone that they don't even sell.

This is good customer service by T-Mobile. On one hand it's not "newsworthy" because they do this all the time, but on the other hand it's refreshing to see a company that actually seems to care about its customers.
There's a single ATI Cablecard tuner on eBay for $200. I'm not spending $400 to hack something that might stop working with a Windows update.
What happens if your Moxi breaks after its warranty? Get another $800 out. What happens if your Tivo breaks? Spend $200 on a Tivo HD. If you have to replace the Moxi once in five years you would have been way ahead buying the Tivo.

Also, here's Moxi's warranty if you want to laugh:

"Similar to other products in your home such as your LCD or Plasma TV, we offer a full warranty to cover against any unforeseen issues. MOXI has a standard one year warranty from the original purchase date. During the first 90 days, your warranty covers both parts and labor. After 90 days, and for the remainder of the one year warranty period, your warranty covers parts."

90 day warranty parts and labor, after that they don't even cover their labor on an $800 box. Nice.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn.
Your client should have spent his remote money on a better TV.
The TiVo does Youtube.
Literally the minute this comes out I'll buy a Slingbox thingy.
Oh, cook Sunday and reheat. That's a good idea. I'm a moron.
Midweek meals, braise for 2.5 hours? When do you get home from work?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
