FWIW, I've had no problems with my phone since purchase, and coverage is pretty much always 3G in the Pacific NW. We did a road trip down the coast to Cali last month though, and it's absolutely criminal that in Apple's HOME STATE they have probably the worst network coverage of anyplace I've ever been. There is no reason why I should be getting EDGE speeds while walking around anywhere in Berkley, San Francisco or Venice Beach (San Diego, surprisingly, had much better coverage...go figure).
Picked it up today with relatively no hassles. Haven't had a chance to use it much yet but we'll see how it goes.

Interesting note: I was one of at least 5 people in line in my immediate area who were switching to an iphone from an N95
It's not perfect...but they've corrected enough of the issues to get me to jump on board and put my N95-3 to rest for a while.

I really like the pre...I think the interface is outstanding...if it didn't have the one crippling feature that is a CDMA network through Sprint (CDMA network in general, really), I'd probably have skipped over. Oh well...give them a couple years to iron out the kinks.
16 pages and the thing hasn't started yet? crazy...
Nice...but no US 3G, and speaking with an AT&T rep at the store today, I was told that in general they only get samsung smartphones running WinMo, so it's unlikely they'll be picking this up. Hoping for T-Mobile, but otherwise, this looks like a pass. A shame too, because if not for lack of that it would be perfect.
An unladen swallow
That was easy!
Transform and roll out. (roller)
Hold back the years, cuz I keep rollin' on.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
