Do any of you work in a public-facing telecommunications position? Almost NO ONE understands any of this! The people who came in looking for a G1 had no idea what they were looking for really was, what they could do, how much it would cost, or why they should be in the store to begin with. Omoks was dead-on. It was marketed. Not 'well', but at least moderately successfully.
After trying the android version that someone at XDA months ago figured out how to squeeze i a Tnto a cooked ROM on a Tilt, and seeing how dead-end its been so far for T-Mo, one personal criticism is the OS's a snooze.
my confidence in this thing not totally sucking grows.....UI looks nice, particularly if you're a PSP user (i'm not, but the flicking through aero-like pageviews was cool) . didnt look like the frickin' brick it was made out to be in some of the early photos. the video really made me want a fuze, damn that black finish and less lag when you open it up looked awesome
super"meh". nice key arrangement (vs the 9's, the geometric aspect here seems like it would be nice) but just no need. Like the Blackjack 2 vs. the 1, the 'improvements' are marginal. Motorola(still)=FAIL.
jesus christ people its labor day day weekend, let the tech world rest for a couple days, get out, see the sun and have a frickin' beer. in the real world.
Anyone wanna buy a used 8525?
This will be awesome. WM6 that runs smooth.
8125 when it was new: NEVER crashed.
8525 when it was new: NEVER crashed.
8525 when I put whatever new WM6 I was trying at the time: prone to monthly crashes.

As a a repeat (and heavy user), I have total confidence this thing WONT crash, where are you basing this off of? Have you ever owned an HTC phone?
Jackass Iphone users...the two are not for the same user. People who want to use their legal Itunes media, yay for you. I have my business mostly run through my 8525, and after using an 8125 before it, HTC has made a loyal customer out of me.
Doesnt hurt to have TCPMP in them, either: Sorry Mr. Jobs, my loyalty's to Mr. Chou. Can't wait to see if they come out with something awesome!

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
