I've had some problems but for the most part they seem to work.

Sometimes I'll get the same text twice, or the date will be off, and there was an image someone sent me that it couldn't display in a slideshow unless I saved it and viewed it from the album.

Other than that most people respond right away to my message and I don't see signs of major problems.

Hoping for donut and an update from HTC soon.
Bought a Hero yesterday, love it, but confirmed that yes, it is not using revA in Seattle area.
What store you working at?

I called my local store and they said no, wait until Sunday.
Thanks, I called them, but they'd have to ship it. I'll wait until Sunday instead.
Called BB, apparently there are only two stores in the state of WA that sell Sprint phones: Vancouver, and Kennewick. I think I'll wait till sunday and buy from Sprint. -looks down-
Thanks for the link. I noticed that under the Hero it says:
Flash: 5MP

WTF? I am pretty sure hero does not have flash.
Yes I am wondering if this is an improved CPU in terms of efficiency and not just a faster version of the common 528.
They can sell way more if offered by a carrier or two.
No kidding... I'd like to see the analysis on this one. Can't imagine that most folks use ascii more than numbers.
The pre looks very nice but I am interested in an android phone for it's google voice implementation and also for it's google maps implementation. The browser on the pre is great though and it's available now :)

Holding out for the hero myself though, and sprint plans are the least expensive for what you get so I don't have many complaints except it would be nice to not have to pay the $5/mo for calling google voice (i mean home).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
