What an UGLY POS! Not worth the silicon used to make it!
I don't get it either, nor would I buy it, being a customer for ANY GSM service! Honestly, this phone is only different in the fact that it's thinner than the MDA/8125 and has the no slip coating... and to be truthfull, I prefer my cell phone to be the size of the likes of the 02 XDAIIs, THAT was a nice phone. It felt comfortable in the hands & was actually viewable with the larger screen. If only HTC would make THAT model with the features of their TyTn but able to accomadate either a full size SD or Mini SD (for the large storage size)as well as using the regular headset connector as aopposed to the propriatory stuff comming out. Also, a 4 or 5 MP cam would be good as well as a higher processor & at least 512 megs of ram. Also FM/AM/radio TV (non subscription)or XM radio built in, (Yes there are those of us who still listen *COASTTOCOASTAM ROCKS!!!* LOL)then I'd be happy! The newer stuff they are comming up with just isn't up to snuff. The newest ones with the mini hard drives, I don't trust cause it includes movable parts that can be easily damaged if dropped. Hands down HTC is the best on the market, but they just arent up to snuff with what a PDA/Phone ought to be.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
