This is absolutely ridiculous.

I'm glad Sling caved under the old box owners pressure (although I'm sure it was not hard to revert back to, and was the right thing to do). However, the fact that there's no 3G is unacceptable. For one, let's look at the WinMo phones which run it on 3G just fine. Then take a look at the Orb application for iPhone, which allows you to stream video over...you guessed it...3G!

I don't know who is responsible for the no-3G, whether it's AT&T, Apple, or Sling themselves, but it needs to be changed quickly.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
