This thing sucks. I will never pay for map, POI, and other updates when I can access up-to-the-minute information quickly, freely, and easily online through my cell phone.

What would really be nice is tighter integration between the cell phone and the car, so that you don't have to use your car to look up the address of the restaurant you just called on your phone. That's stupid.
Unbelievable... Microsoft has years of experience in the mobile device space, and still a crap user experience. You still need to click through a bunch of menus to get stuff done and the "new" internet explorer chokes on a simple site like boygeniusreport.com. The NUMBER ONE priority in mobile devices should be responsiveness to the user... You click something, it comes up immediately. If it can't come up immediately, it tells you that it's working and comes up as soon as possible. Today it just hangs until it finally gets around to responding. Apple figured it out... why can't Microsoft?
You just lost a lot of style points in my book due to your "intensive purposes"
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
