I just got my iPhone 3GS last week. I've been luck enough to not experience the issues with crashing. I didnt have a chance to mess around with 3.0 on an iPhone (only my 2G touch). I have had horrible battery life, though. I'm really hoping this is because of the update. I can't even make it through a whole day with very little use before the battery dies. I would love to actually be able to use the phone instead of keeping it in my pocket, trying not to use it in an effort to conserve battery life.
I'm hoping this eliminates some of the lag when typing on the keyboard. Also, I haven't been able to pair my device with any bluetooth headsets but that could be something the devs did intentionally.

I don't want to make this an "add me to your dev account!*!*!*!" post, but it would be appreciated =D

I also had the harddrive detection failure when i was installing leopard on my C2D Macbook.
my favourite thing about the iphone is that it's a phone.... made by apple. that means it will integrate seamlessly with all of my data on my macbook. (unlike my crappy lg that wont even sync)
i'd be interested to findout what the specs are of the computers they're running up there. if i didnt fear the anti-fanboy backlash, i'd reccomend making the switch to mac. lol
is it just me or does it resemble a sony ericsson?
why are the Palm logos on opposite sides of the two devices?

why does the Palm OS version not have End and Send keys?
ok...so i'm a little confused.... does the macbook have internal speakers, or not? surely it has to. it is not listed in the audio out section...but it's listed for the ibook.
i would hope that they would keep the ibook name intact seeing as it has nothing to do with the powerpc chip as the POWERbook did. and besides...they didnt go and change the imac name and loose the "i".
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
