If the shift just had better battery life, it could surpass the Q1U. But for now the Q1U is the best umpc out there.

Ouch. Not another were looking at blending. How about "will in blend" marriage. The Symanbian OS rocks. Windows mobile, while looks like windows, does a decent job. But from a usability view, IMHO, Symanbian is much better. Plus with them having Active Sync, what’s to stop them in a Windows mobile world. Nokia just need better placement in the US business world.

Yes, it does use data, for the garmin online, traffic, weather. But for routing and POI, its on the software.

Ahh, how is this news? I have running this on my 8525 for about a month. And it been out a long time, I would guess about a year already. I bought mine at J&R in NYC about 30 days ago.

Runs on q9h great as well.

I updated my Q a few days ago. Push email is fast about 10 seconds or so. I have noticed my bettary life is a little better.

Just last week I was going to ditch the q and go back to a bb, but this has put some new life in to it. Now we just have to wait for qcaps. Check qusers.com for info on that app.

Q to be launched May 22nd?

Just so an add in Chicago at a bus stop for the Q. On the corner of Chicago and Migigan. I stoped in the Verizion store on Migigan and they still had no answer of when.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
