HTC Magic or HTC Hero

I like the look of the magic
but the exchange, 3.5 jack are making this a no brainer

although the galaxy goes have the 8gb of ram

I am tired of having to pick and choose my features across devices...
what about the HTC hero....?
I have been using the feature on the Blackberry for a while. Its Great. The times are pretty accurate too. Whats sad is NYC is spending millions working on a train arrival/departure display and Google pretty much does the same.
What do you have to say or do you just have to get lucky?
I already returned my G1. I think I will wait for the G2 or whatever its called. The G1 is coming along great. I am just not going to watch it "grow up" at my expense.
1. A super battery and custom case for it
2. sturdier build ( creaky loose feel)
3. better app manager (apps running in the background)
can i haz 1?

PLEASE!
This is awesome! Thanks for doing this Engadget!
I saw we continue to tweet flood them for the next month until the G1 drops so that they know we are serious. I think 20,000 unique tweeters should do. What say you?

Forget the next cycle I want this now. Enough with factors outside of customers deciding what is brought to market. Carriers, new standards, and non-compete agreements should not trump consumer demand. I am PISSED!
i second that! Actually Touch HD first please!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
