It seems to me, too, that BIS is unreliable in general and also very slow in the configuration pages for BIS.
It would be fun to really see what T-Mobile is like!

This looks like a great phone!

Thank you Engadget for covering this. The Treo 700P on Verizon was, at the time of purchase, heralded as a premier business tool. The inability to retain a data connection makes it worse that simply "not being able to check e-mail." Every time the device loses the data signal the entire device slows down or crashes. I tend to have to reset my phone any time I want to make a phone call.
Yeah Sanyo.. pretty phones in America..
Makes you wish you used Sprint!
Love the blackjack!
Enough to make you want to switch to T-Mobile! Here's to hoping I'm picked..
Why isn't this being touted as the iPhone killer? It seems to do it ALL today without having to worry about whether your fingers are sticky.. of course, Apple has a certain "flare" to its design, but this doesn't look bad..!

Here's to hoping I'm picked!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
