@philr clear is the rebranded version of xohm. Also don't expect wimax in Grand Rapids anytime soon, I know that since the begging Sprint and Clearwire have focused on Grand Rapids but with the lawsuits going on Sprint is ok selling 'Clear' as long as it isn't in iPCS areas, of which Grand Rapis is. iPCS has said they wouldn't block the merger as long as no 'Clear' in iPCS markets. Don't be suprised to see Grand Rapids put off instead of forcing another issue in the courts. I know the merger has now gone through, but iPCS has had a good track record in the courts against Sprint lately.
I thought that Nextel owened the rights to Qchat and that Sprint was only able to roll out this technology out because of the merger with Nextel, am I wrong?
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
