Then Verizon should give up the exlclusive on the Blackberry Storm. Sprint should give up the exclusive on the Pre. T-mobile should give up the exclusive on the G1. Think before you speak.
Per the official ATT release, from the date of closing the purchase att has intentions on having a full gsm network functioning within 12 months in the newly acquired markets.

Hate to say it, but I told you so!
Did you not read any of the above posts? VZW is going to start requiring ALL PDA's including NON BLACKBERRY devices to carry a minimum of a $29.99 data plan. Comes in mid-November.
Just wait and see. Any new phone sales, esn changes, or upgrades to pda's will require a minimum of a $29.99 Data feature come mid-november. when it happens and you find out, just remember where you heard it from first and then think to yourself..."Boy am I a tool"
It's not going to mattet cuz the big VZ Dubs is going to start requiring internet packages on ALL of their PDA's starting in mid-November. Even with wi-fi, you're still going to have to shell out $29.99 + for EVDO service.
Seriously though...anyway to get one of these bad boys unlocked for VZW in the states?
Talked directly to the Moto rep the other day. This is NOT a replacement for the V3m. They are firmly standing behind the V9m as the official replacement for the V3 line. The w755 is the first phone in a new line which will include the 750 PTT phone. Funny engadget doesn't have the sources that a lowly rep does.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
