I was given one of these a few years ago when we were cleaning out an old storage shed. The beast weighs a ton, but to my surprise actually booted up just fine. Certainly a blast from the past.
I highly doubt this would be CARB exempt. Har har har.
Just say the 10D so I don't feel like I need to spend money to upgrade.
Very nice! Would work great at home.
Non-banding screen? Something other than Clank bundled?
Nice! Another fine addition to the media center!
Sweet, goes along nicely with the new HDTV setup.
Awesome, I've been looking into these for a while now.
Anyone find out if Backblaze does archiving ala iDrive or Amazon S3? I'd love to be able to backup my photographs stored on DVD that aren't always mounted on my hard disk. I hate how Mozy won't archive.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
