Coming from a supervisor at a FiOS tech support call center, it is a huge relief to hear somebody say that, so I thank you. Naturally all I hear about are the problems with it, but the problems we get only make up about 3% of the customer base. It's hard to see past that sometimes, so I really do appreciate that comment. It makes my job that much more worthwhile.
Here's how you fix the economy: give me all of that sweet stuff.
Yeah, but the great thing about FiOS is that when they roll out 100/mbps there's no hardware change, it's all software. Kicking out that speed isn't really a deterent for continuing to expand into more markets.
Another thing on the list of legitimate reasons to convince my wife that we need a 360!
When I watched this video the first time yesterday I was at work and couldn't hear it, so I didn't know what all the fuss was about. I watched it again with headphones on today. Now I get it. I really really get it. I'm so pumped.
Gears of War 2: Go Buy A Damn 360 Already
I had all but forgotten about this game, but now that I've been reminded I'm really bummed it's not out yet. I really hope we get to see this game someday, the Game Informer artical for it made me pretty excited.
Everytime a gamer mentions the d-pad being broken god kills a kitten.

I have never had a problem with the d-pad, and I use it a lot.
sounds like somebody missed the sarcasm.

For most people out there coming across that much ethernet without paying hundreds of dollars just isn't possible. Sure, lots of us (myself included) know a guy or have access to make any length cable we want, but have you ever gone into a big box retailer and seen the price of those cables? It's absurd! For the price of 1 100' cable you could buy a box of 1000 feet, and the crimping tool, and the connectors. Most people just don't want to be bothered with all of that.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
