HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

I hate you sidekick.
I'll be getting this for it's sheer innovation, if not just for the fact that it's awesome. Hopefully, they'll do well and build more of this stuff... But bigger.
Darren, you and I would get on smashingly in an iPod battle. Before I finished reading the article, I hit the mute button. Evanessence?? Really? Shite christian rock? Blech.
This was the beginning of the end for Apple's mp3 line. There's something about the way innovation in Cupertino is going these days. A total disregard for practicality over forced design.

It has always been common with Apple. But this simple thing. So subtle, speaks volumes.
Most would call me an Apple fanboy. But this thing? Makes me so sad.
Someone please tell me now.
How is this not making it any more attractive to just STEAL TV???

The longer they fight technology, the worse it's gonna be come 3-4 years when cable subscription is a thing of the past. I honestly can't believe it's 2009 and I'm seeing something like this happen. We had the mp3 blueprint laid out for us! But yet these greedy old farts can't get with it.

I don't want to advocate stealing, but COME ON.
I know everyone who just bridles at the mention of anything Apple related is going to come in here and cause a stink. But the fact is, these are MacBook copies simple and plain.

And I'm sure MSI intended for it to be that way. It's not a big deal, but it's clear as day.
This is ridiculous. I mentioned this on the piracy of apps thread. But these developers don't quite seem to understand this market.

There is NO VALUE in a $16 chat application. Though the functions may be better than AIM mobile et al, what you are paying for is a chat app at the end of the day.

The pricing is disgusting. And they should be ashamed of themselves for calling a $10 app a sale.
This thing is perfect for music production.

If I'm going full throttle at work and I don't need to be on iChat wasting time,

I can use the Mimo to view my VST instrument plug ins.

And my Macbook can take mixer window duty in Logic, and the main screen cinema display is where all the magic can happen.

This is GREAT guys! Good stuff!
The fact of the matter is, the only way to prevent this is to place DRM on the apps. And we all know how that goes.

As with music, there's nothing you can do if people want to steal. I feel bad for the developers, however, somebody will find a way. And spending time and energy to avoid it, will end up costing more.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
