I for one look forward to this if it is an actual phone. I always look forward to any new phone concept. With touchscreens seeming to dominate the landscape in terms of new phones, this is quite refreshing. The problem with touchscreens for me is that because a huge amount of phone's real estate is devoted to the screen itself and there is very little design wiggle room to play around with after that. I miss buttons. Heres hoping that this comes to fruition.
Did anyone notice the specs on the battery life? 10 hours? Is this a joke? If any other "shuffle" category player had that lackluster of a battery it would get hit hard in the reviews. I
So let me get this straight in order to use this thing you have to use the included crappy earbuds OR have to buy yet another accessory just to use your own earbuds. Dont you like how Apple manufactures a problem to market a solution? What a load...

Jubei thank you for your unbiased opinion as always. And thank you for bringing in microsoft once again . Are you an actual person or some program created to make trolling comments on boards because EVERY FREAKING COMMENT sounds the same. You are in a rut.
Why do you hate Zune so much? Did you ever buy one? Did you actually do a side by side comparison between two products in the same catagory? Please explain your reason for hating Zune.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
