Business/First class in many airlines have long been handing out portable DVD players that passengers are required to return. I have not heard of a loss rate problem. Sure the economy class thing is new but I doubt that AA is going to load a plane having 200 of such devices. I think it will be first come first serve in Economy. Still curious as to how much they'd charge.
I really like your blog and you got a nice take on stuff but if you think Clerks II will be a hit, you're joking. (I'm calling anything less than $50 mill box office domestic not a hit for that movie).
Sixth Sense was great. Unbreakable not so bad at all -- and very true to the premise.

Signs was the abomination. The Village pretty much ridiculous.

This movie is getting some crazy buzz though. People are loving it.

Really, the guy does have points to make. It's just post-Sixth Sense he builds movies unsuitable to make the points (A massive alien invasion tells you it's ok to love again?) (You really can't run away from tragedy or the real world even if you try to creat an 18th century village?) Yikes.

I'm not sure about the book butjust the fact Disney greenlighted The Village tells me that he has nothing to hold against them.
850. Nokia. 850. Then, great plan.
Nokia -- You gotta get slimmer on the phones. It's just that simple.
I criticized the Chinese government in the comment section regarding a post about a 4GB SD Card. I give Engadget Chinese 2-3 more days to live!

Thank you. Thank you very much. I'll be here all week.

This post has something I think engadget is great at -- bringing us tech news that's hard to get in other places AND letting the readers have fun.....Singing breasts? Why not?!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
