<p>Those who don't hang out at Japanese arcades (<a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/12/yo-yo-factory-brings-hyper-scanner-yo-yo-gaming-to-toy-fair-we/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">who doesn't?</a>) have missed out on <em>Pokemon Tretta</em>, which has players building virtual Pokemon collections through real tokens they win in battle. It's not always easy to visit the local gaming den, however -- so Nintendo, Marvelous AQL and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/09/utamin-the-adorable-theremin-like-toy-thats-a-great-gift-for/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Takara Tomy Arts</a> are releasing <em>Pokemon Tretta Lab</em> to use those creature libraries elsewhere. The add-on for the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/08/nintendo-3ds-review-japanese/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">3DS</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/07/10/nintendo-3ds-xl-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">3DS LL</a> combines a downloadable game with a dual-token scanner that can be used to fight other players, practice against AI or simply study new critters. <em>Pokemon Tretta Lab</em> ships to Japan on August 10th for &yen;3,800 ($38), and it may be tempting to newcomers when tokens for Eevee, Lucario and Mewtwo are in the box. Unfortunately, the rest of the world will likely have to watch from afar. While it's easy for a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/14/pikachu-yellow-3ds-xl-coming-to-us-march-24/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Pikachu handheld</a> to cross borders, <em>Tretta Lab</em>'s dependence on a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/18/new-yorks-chinatown-fair-re-opening/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">healthy arcade market</a> all but rules out a similar trip.</p>

Well, the device that looks to lend a hand to your desktop setup is <em>now available</em>. After <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/05/belkin-thunderbolt-express-dock/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">upgrading</a> the unit back in the summer of 2012, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/15/belkin-thunderbolt-express-dock-pre-order/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">pre-orders</a> went live in February with a ship date expected shortly thereafter. No word on the cause of the delay, but the $299 dock still offers dual Thunderbolt ports for daisy-chaining up to five gadgets, FireWire 800, Ethernet, and both 3.5mm audio input and output. If the wait hasn't swayed your interest, grab one immediately via the source link below, and in stores before the end of May.</p>

The outfit has announced the Cintiq 22HD touch: a version of the existing 21.5-inch stylus pal with multi-touch functionality on board. If you'll recall, a similar treatment was given to the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/14/wacom-cintiq-24hd-touch-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Cintiq 24HD</a> after its initial launch <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/09/13/wacom-cintiq-24hd-hands-on-video/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">sans swipes</a>. The list of additional specs for the 22HD touch still includes a 1920 x 1080 full HD LCD screen, a gamut of 16.7 million colors, 16 configurable ExpressKeys, adjustable stand and that trusty Cintiq pen. Of course, the new tactile treatment runs the cost up $500 -- but if that doesn't deter you, the unit is slated to hit shelves sometime in May.</p>
